Mountain meets modern.

This mountain modern home was designed to maximize the views in every way. Built on a sloping lot that offered several challenges, the final decision was to create a series of living levels. Each level was oriented towards the views of either Perins Peak or the LaPlatas. The home site was also planned around significant pine trees on the lot which provides privacy for the main level master bedroom. The final views are spectacular as the homeowners enjoy evenings on their new covered outdoor space.

The interiors were designed around existing heirloom pieces of furniture that the homeowners planned to feature. Furniture pieces were measured and modeled in 3D representations to ensure that the space was complimenting. A mixture of materials were used to add definition to the large open living space including, stone, metal, and exposed steel beams which accent the sweeping ceiling of the great room
