Chimney Rock Estate

This 10,000+ SF estate sits above the Piedre River and near Chimney Rock, among historic kivas and ruins. The new home features circular design themes that acknowledge the patterns of the kivas. This massive estate and guest quarters pulls design elements from the existing kivas, and nearby river, and includes elements of the owner’s home state of Louisiana. These diverse influences come together to create a home that is large in scale, but creates interior spaces that are warm and inviting.

Stone from the property was harvested and used in the new construction, as was brick brought in from Louisiana. The curved entryway into the home features stacked stone and niches to hold the antiquities found on the property.
