Brad Ash has been a key member of Reynolds Ash + Associates since 2006 and became a principal in 2015 when he opened the firm’s Pagosa Springs office. He works closely with clients and construction teams to help ensure projects are well designed and well built. Coming from four generations of builders in the Pagosa Springs area, he brings a practical understanding of construction along with a strong design background, allowing him to balance creativity with real world buildability.
A Pagosa Springs native, Brad studied at Adams State University before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2003, followed by a Master of Architecture and a Graduate Certificate in Design Build from the University of Colorado Denver in 2006. During graduate school, he received the Architectural Craftsmanship Award at the 2006 Young Architects Award Gala hosted by AIA.
Brad has served as project architect on many civic and public projects, including the City Hall, Library, and Public Safety Building for the City of Alamosa. His work also includes the Alamosa multi purpose pavilion and ice rink, the Human Services addition and remodel for Rio Grande County, the Hinsdale County Administration Building in Lake City, and the remodel and addition to the Mineral County Courthouse in Creede. He has worked extensively with Archuleta County School District #50 Joint on projects ranging from roof replacements and security upgrades to the Pirate Achievement Center, district master planning, and the ongoing development of a new CTE school with Build Pagosa.
His long term involvement with the Pagosa Hot Springs Resort includes leading numerous phased upgrades and improvements, often within an active, occupied resort environment. This work reflects his ability to coordinate construction carefully, minimize disruption to operations, and deliver improvements that support both guest experience and long term facility value.
Brad stays active in the Pagosa Springs community through service on the Comprehensive Plan Committee, Build Pagosa, the Home Builders Association, and previously the Historic Preservation Board, reinforcing his strong ties to the region and the communities RA+A serves.
In his free time, Brad enjoys fly fishing, hiking, skiing, golf, tennis, camping, and traveling with his family.
