Elizabeth Boone brings a wealth of experience from her tenure in New York City. With over 14 years as a licensed Architect, she has led a wide range of projects. In addition to her design versatility, Elizabeth is recognized for integrating sustainability strategies into every project, ensuring that performance, efficiency, and environmental responsibility are embedded in the final outcome. Her dynamic portfolio reflects a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and technical dimensions of building design.
Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ball State University in 2008 and her Master of Architecture from Ball State University in 2010. She has been a licensed architect since 2013 and achieved her LEED Accredited Professional Building Design + Construction credential in 2015. In addition to her professional practice, she has served as architecture faculty at Northeastern University, Pratt Institute, and the New York City College of Technology, contributing to architectural education through instruction grounded in design rigor, technical clarity, and real-world application. Her work has been recognized with two Architecture Magazine R+D Awards.
Her professional experience spans K–12, higher education, and civic projects, giving her a well-rounded perspective on educational and community-focused design. She has contributed to projects for Fort Lewis College, the Durango School District, and regional economic development initiatives such as the San Juan County Industrial Park.
She also brings a substantial background in custom homes, luxury multi-family, and high-end hospitality. This portfolio highlights her strength in thoughtful planning, material selection, and creating spaces that balance aesthetics, function, and user comfort. Her approach emphasizes responsiveness to client goals, sensitivity to site and context, and careful attention to detailing. Across all project types, she is known for organized documentation, collaborative teamwork, and a steady focus on delivering practical, high-quality design.
In her free time Elizabeth enjoys the outdoors – running, hiking, skiing and rafting throughout the southwest region.
