Lauren Davis joined Reynolds Ash + Associates following the merger of RMBA and RA+A in Spring 2022 and brings 20 years of experience in architecture and master planning. She holds a planning certification from the American Planning Association and has worked on projects from early concepts through construction. Her background includes commercial, retail, mixed use, and educational projects, as well as larger master planned developments. She is comfortable using tools like Revit, SketchUp, and FormIt and contributes to project specifications and documentation. Lauren became a partner in 2024.
Lauren works well with large organizations and projects that involve many voices and priorities. She has collaborated with residents, community leaders, and public agencies to support inclusive planning and design processes. Her recent work with La Plata County, Archuleta County, and Hinsdale County includes new public facilities that required steady coordination and clear communication.
She served as project architect for the new Archuleta County transit facility, a grant funded project supported by CDOT, and worked closely with County and state representatives throughout the process. She is familiar with the expectations that come with publicly funded projects and helps teams stay organized and on track.
Lauren is known for keeping teams aligned and making sure client goals are reflected in the final design. She has contributed to projects for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, including the Buckskin Charlie Apartments and the Modular Laboratory, and has experience with both conventional and modular construction. Her work focuses on practical, well considered design that fits community needs and project goals.
Her portfolio also includes collaboration with Fort Lewis College on athletic facility improvements, work on learning environments such as the Career Innovation Center at Durango High School and the new Animas High School facility, and a range of custom homes. She brings a thoughtful, steady approach to projects and values clear communication and teamwork from start to finish.
