Elizabeth Boone, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Principal Architect

Elizabeth Boone joined RA+A from New York City and brings experience from a wide variety of project types including residential, hospitality, health clubs, commercial, retail, and mixed use high rise buildings. Elizabeth is a design architect involved in a range of the firm’s projects. Elizabeth is a licensed Architect with over 10 years experience in all facets of building design.

Boone received her LEED Accredited Professional Building Design and Construction certification in 2015, a Master’s Degree of Architecture from Ball State University in 2010, and a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Architecture from Ball State University in 2008. Boone received an Architecture Magazine R+D award for a project completed during graduate school. She has been practicing as a licensed architect since 2013.

Elizabeth relocated to Durango, Colorado where she quickly became an integral part of the RA+A team. In this capacity, Boone was responsible for a range of projects including the New Durango Fire Station, and 200 Key Henry Shaw Hotel. During her previous experience in New York Boone worked as a Senior Associate, leading a team of architects to oversee all aspects of the design process for large mixed use projects.

Her most recent projects include the design and documentation of a 2,000,000 GSF, mixed use tower in Journal Square, NJ, and a 1,000,000 GSF 70 story tower in Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s West Side. She has served as architecture faculty at North Eastern University, Pratt Institute, and New York City College of Technology. Prior to working on high rise buildings she was involved with a variety of project types from historic concert hall renovations to 1,000,000 GSF medical centers.
